Homestay guest - Irina Dmitrieva

In July 2013 we were hosts to the winner of an International English Competition Speak Now where her prize was home stay visit involving tourism and upgrading her English with us. Her name was Irina Dmitrieva and she travelled from Saint Petersburg to be with us.

We collected her from the nearest railway station, took her to beaches, a wonderful French theme park, French restaurants, several English cafes and a famous historic French village. During the five days we spoke almost entirely in English and the difference in Irina's speaking and listening skills at the end of that period was very noticeable. She was very enthusiastic in her gratitude. We hope  Irina was happy to be in our house in Chantemerle.
